Your Measureing Guide for Wardrobe and Kitchen Doors

How to Measure for Your New Wardrobe or Kitchen Doors

Measuring Doors for Wardrobes and Kitchens:

Measuring wardrobe and kitchen doors can be a little daunting but follow our guide and the process should be a simple procedure.

1. When measuring for replacement wardrobe or kitchen doors always measure the doors from the back, this will give the most accurate height and width

2. The measurements required are the height and width of the door, these dimensions need to be in mm's

3. Record your measurements ie: H: 2155mm x W: 496mm, the depth of the door is not required

4. Doors and drawer fronts can be made to measure so do not worry if the measurements you obtain do not match those standard doors on the website

5. If you require hinge holes you will need to measure the door from the top or bottom to the hole centre, to determine if a door is left or right hanging view the door from the front and NOT the back.

6. When considering the hinge hole positions consider if there will be anything inside the wardrobe that will obstruct the hinge

7. Take your time and make sure you are happy with the details you obtain
